Be In Control, Create your future

Be In Control, Create Your Own Future
1 Chronicles 4:9-10, Judges 11: 1-11
For many believers we are often caught up in a misconception that the challenges we face is traceable to some diabolical activities of others in all situations.
However a no of times the truth is that we have failed to take complete  responsibility for those key aspects of our life that God expects us to exercise our God given wisdom.
Countless no of men & women even in old age keep grumbling and complaining, blaming others for their problems. Some say its something their parents, teachers bla bla did 1/2 their years ago that led to their predicament.
Saul  said it was the people
Adam said God it was the woman God gave him
Israel said its because Moses took them out of Egypt.
When you allow your past to trap your present, you jeopardize the opportunities that your future has that may be hidden in the limitations of today.
Do you remember the ( four leprous men)
Your worst enemy in life is the negative mindset you have of yourself.
These were lepers
Outcasts
Potential mincemeat
Rejects
Hungry
Hopeless
Nameless
But: they had a good positive image of their future, blamed no one for what could befall them, took their lives into their hands.
It was the day the prodigal came to himself he broke away from the famine, the poverty and the shadow of his failure.
In one moment, one step, one decision every thing that was against him began to work in his favour. He realized his error, he came to terms with his mistakes, he decided to put the blame where it belonged. He knew that he was responsible for the next level of his life. You may not be able to change your past but you can determine the direction of your future.
How powerful, resourceful and progressive is a positive mindset?
Whenever the mind connects to fear, self pity, anxiety, inferiority complex, low self esteem jealousy anger, pride, strife and such forces of negativity, the creative mind of every man collapse in its space and size.
No wonder  Phil. 4:8! reconstructs our mind towards  positive thoughts!,
can you just process that with the fruit of the recreated human spirit; produces as stated in Galatians 5:22-23 ?Love,Joy,peace self control temperance etc. life takes a new dimension.
Human nature is so interesting when we fail to take responsibility  for our failure, a few traits become evident.
1) Justification ; they don't like me, am I the only one? what is wrong with what am doing? am I the worst person in town? Is it my fault? I couldn't control myself!
2) Another escape route is Rationalization. Human beings  love to rationalize basically explain away, make light  Of what is fundamental. Both J&R  (i.e. 1&2 above) are negative emotions. It is a way of blaming others and creating a victim mentality. Ultimately you are the architect of your destiny. Dan. 1:8 and Daniel.... Purposes in his heart..... Make up you're to make your life count!!!!
3) sometimes we make the views of others the basis for our action. That's how Israel got a king! And the way some people have make crucial life related decisions. Don't live as a carbon copy of others, God made u an original, he has a plan for your own life. He loves he has a future and a hope in stock. You were created to be great. Nothing is irreparable or irreversible about your story. The sun will shine again! You will laugh last. You will make it!
Strictly speaking  you are responsible for the content of the plate life serves you.
Whenever you mess up in life, accept responsibility understand where you erred. Say sorry for your action . Take the driving seat of your life and know that the buck stops with you  and you are in charge.
Anytime you turn  the blame to others  you give away your power to succeed.
Don't diminish your strength to achieve advance or recreate  by coasting on the negative feelings that life brings  stop getting angry with others, you are now in charge. Resist the feeling of hopelessness. Don't ever tell yourself I have been denied my future. Today could be your best day. You can start growing up, going on strong and building a new profile today. The dad of the prodigal said he was dead now he is alive, lost but now found. You too can become all you ever dreamt of. There is help and a helper for you!
The greatest power you have in your emotional sphere in life is the power to control your emotions. In the awkward moment of anger we can destroy many  years of great effort. Noah caused his son out of anger. Saul lost his throne because of anger and pride.
Every time we get angry, criticize complain condemn someone else. You trigger and atmosphere for negativity and your body system produces negative hormones that stains, stops and kills your creative mind. Somebody becomes the object of the error in stead of you identifying what you did wrong. The bible says; be angry and sin not!
Don't let someone's action draw negative emotions from you.  Anger opens the door for others to be in control of your emotions. The stability of your emotions determines the total quality of your life.
Jacob describes Rueben,   beginning of his strength....You will not excel!Gen.. 49:3-4
Many of us have great dreams about our life, we know what we want but we are bugged down by poor emotion, poor decision and poor action.
As a man thinks in his heart so is he!
You are what you are, you are where you are you earn what you earn by virtue of the choices you've made the right steps you've taken the steps you've failed to take, yes and the favour you've attracted into your life.
If you don't like the results you are getting change the path you are taking.
This is human nature we complain about so many things that we are not willing to do anything about. The most dramatic changes in your life will take place when you are fed up with your poor results and just take the driving seat of your circumstance
Mike Murdock says you have no right to complain about the things you allow in your life!
Rise up today, stand up today and be a person of quality!
